The RealPort is a Type III PC Card with built-in 10BaseT/100BaseTX Ethernet, 56K modem and telephone handset pass-through connectors.

The RealPort is designed for use anywhere, anytime. It offers GlobalACCESS features with extensive international compatibility; the included CountrySelect software automatically configures the modem to local dialing conventions. RealPort is GSM/PCS 1900 and AMPS cellular-capable with a variety of popular mobile phones. The card's modem function uses the widely-supported K56Flex technology and is flash-upgradeable to the V.90 ITU standard via a simple software download, available from Xircom free of charge.
